Celebrating Success: Amar Jyoti’s Remarkable Achievements in 2022-2023

In the face of adversity, the spirit of excellence shines brightest. Despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the students, alumni, and staff of Amar Jyoti School have continued to soar to new heights, achieving milestones that inspire us all. As we reflect on the period of 2022-23, we are proud to share some of the remarkable achievements and accolades that have adorned our journey.

Distinguished Visitors and Recognition

One of the highlights of the year was the visit of the Hon’ble President, Shrimati Droupadi Murmu, to Amar Jyoti on June 20, 2023. Her visit, coinciding with her birthday, added a special significance to the occasion. During her visit, she toured the music therapy, early intervention unit, and the English language lab, expressing her appreciation for the inclusive cultural performance presented by our students.

We were also honored to have the Hon’ble Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, Dr. Virendra Kumar, as the Chief Guest at our annual day function. His presence further underscored our commitment to excellence and inclusivity.

National and International Recognition

Amar Jyoti Charitable Trust received the prestigious National Award for outstanding performance as “Divyangajanon Ke Sashatikaran Hetu Sarvshrestha Sansthan”. This esteemed recognition, received for the third time, is a testament to our unwavering dedication to the welfare of persons with disabilities. Additionally, we were honored with Rehabilitation International’s Centennial Award for Significant Contributions, a testament to our global impact.

Academic and Professional Excellence

Our faculty and students have continued to excel in academia and professional endeavors. Dr. JeyanthiS, Officiating Principal, was awarded a PhD degree by the Faculty of Medicine, Punjabi University, Patiala. Furthermore, our students secured top positions in the Delhi University Master’s and Bachelor’s degree exams, further solidifying our commitment to academic excellence.

Promoting Inclusive Education

Amar Jyoti School has been at the forefront of promoting inclusive education. We ensure the inclusion of children with disabilities in all co-curricular activities, fostering an environment of equality and respect. Our collaborative efforts with various educational institutions such as Amity University, Don Bosco School, British School, Modern School, and Kothari School have furthered our mission of inclusive education.

The achievements of our former students are a source of immense pride. Piyush Kumar, Fahim, Aman Raj, and Jatin Atroliya are just a few examples of the many alumni who have excelled in their respective fields, showcasing the limitless potential of individuals nurtured at Amar Jyoti School.
