Pre-Vocational Skill Development at Amar Jyoti

At Amar Jyoti School, we are dedicated to providing our students with a well-rounded education that prepares them for the future. That’s why all students, starting from class III, receive pre-vocational skill training in a variety of areas such as cutting/tailoring, art-craft, computer skills, pottery, and artificial jewelry making.

These training units serve not only as educational experiences but also as therapeutic activities, enhancing the fine motor skills and attention abilities of students with disabilities. In our computer department, we have implemented features like adapted keyboards with big fonts and tactile feedback, as well as JAWS software, to ensure that all students, including those with visual challenges, can fully participate and benefit from these activities.

By providing these opportunities, we aim to empower our students and help them develop the skills they need to succeed in the future.
