A successful orthopaedic surgeon with over 45 years of rich work experience. He is the former President of Orthopaedic Association of India and recipient of the prestigious Padma Shri award. He has also received highest Civilian Award by Government of Bangladesh for help provided during freedom struggle early last month. His educational qualifications include MS Orthopaedic and MCH, Liverpool.
Mrs. Aruna Dalmia, Vice President
A well respected social worker, Mrs. Dalmia has over 28 years experience in the field of rehabilitation. She has also held the position of the President of National Abilympics Association of India. She is the recipient of several awards including the Lakshmipat Singhania National Leadership Award and Maharana National Award.
Dr. Uma Tuli, Founder and Managing Secretary
An educationist, rehabilitation professional and social worker, Dr. Tuli over 30 years of professional experience of teaching, administration and in the field of disability. She was the first non-bureaucrat to be appointed as Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities. She initiated several innovative schemes during her term of four years. She is the recipient of several national and international awards including the Padma Shri, Lakshmipat Singhania – IIM Lucknow National Leadership Award, Manav Seva Award, Presidential Plaque for Exemplary Service by Rehabilitation International and many more. Dr. Tuli was also awarded the Doctor of Laws, Honoris Causa, from Roehampton University, London in recognition of her exemplary contribution to inclusivity.
